The Hydraulic Well Control Unit provides reliable control of both surface and subsurface safety valves (Surface and Subsurface Safety Valves).
One of the main advantages of this system is the integrated Emergency Shutdown (ESD) function. This emergency shutdown mode is controlled by an external pilot valve and is automatically activated in case of low pilot pressure or in case of air or gas supply failure.
In addition, the system offers a high degree of flexibility and operational reliability thanks to the possibility of manual operation. The unit is equipped with an air-driven pump and a specially designed hydraulic three-way valve. In case of reduced or failed air supply, the entire system can be operated manually using the manual controls of both the air pump and the hydraulic override.
